Banco Santander, a través de Santander Universidades y en colaboración con Laspau -institución afiliada a Harvard University-, ofrecerá 150 Becas Santander Skills Innovation in Teaching, donde podrán participar por primera vez profesores de México, así como docentes de otros diez países, que deseen fortalecer sus competencias pedagógicas en el ámbito de la educación superior, y generar un impacto en la enseñanza.
Se trata de una oportunidad que por primera ocasión estará abierta a académicos mexicanos, con un programa altamente valorado a nivel internacional, donde los profesores serán guiados por mentores y tutores expertos en pedagogía y enseñanza entre pares, para realizar un itinerario formativo diseñado para ofrecer las herramientas necesarias que les permitan convertirse en agentes de cambio, a través de la generación de redes y buenas prácticas.
“Banco Santander es reconocido por su compromiso con la educación y la innovación pedagógica en la educación superior. Con esta iniciativa hemos querido compartir ese compromiso directamente con la propia comunidad a través de una consulta en la que, por un lado, se pone de manifiesto la necesidad y la urgencia de fomentar acciones que aceleren la normalización de las nuevas prácticas educativas en universidades y, por otro, nos ha marcado el camino para la creación de un programa del que estamos particularmente orgullosos”, ha señalado Javier Roglá, director global de Santander Universidades.
“La red de expertos de Laspau y nuestra experiencia de 55 años en creación de acceso a una educación superior de calidad, se ponen al servicio de este programa diseñado para que los participantes aprendan mejores prácticas pedagógicas, establezcan conexiones relevantes con universidades reconocidas internacionalmente, concluyan el programa habiendo fortalecido su práctica pedagógica y se conviertan en agentes de cambio para impactar a las instituciones de las que son parte”, señaló Angélica Natera, directora ejecutiva de Laspau.
El programa, elaborado por Laspau y una amplia red internacional de docentes, será impartido en español, inglés o portugués, y dirigido exclusivamente al profesorado en el ámbito de la educación superior, otorgándoles el aprendizaje de nuevos modelos de enseñanza desde una perspectiva innovadora, para un aprendizaje efectivo.
El curso comenzará el próximo octubre y los interesados pueden consultar todos los requisitos y formalizar su solicitud, a través de la web www.becas-santander.com, hasta el 26 de julio.
