En el marco del 8M Día Internacional de la Mujer, el Gobierno de Naucalpan, encabezado por el Alcalde Isaac Montoya Márquez, a través del Sistema Municipal DIF, llevarán a cabo la Jornada de Salud Mujer con Bienestar, en la que se ofrecerán 60 mastografías gratuitas diarias del 3 al 7 de marzo en la explanada del Palacio Municipal.
Durante el arranque de la Jornada, el Presidente Municipal destacó que su administración ha decidido priorizar la salud de las mujeres naucalpenses, especialmente en temas tan sensibles como la detección del cáncer de mama, a la vez que, subrayó que la prevención y la detección oportuna son fundamentales para salvar vidas y permitir que las pacientes accedan a tratamientos eficaces. “Como Gobierno Municipal hemos decidido hacer lo máximo a favor de las mujeres”.
De acuerdo con cifras del INEGI, en el 2024, el cáncer de mama fue la primera causa de muerte entre los tumores malignos; 99.2 % ocurrieron en mujeres. La tasa de defunción por cáncer de mama en mujeres de 20 años y más fue de 18.7 muertes por cada 100 mil mujeres.
La jornada contará con una unidad móvil equipada para realizar estudios de mastografía, con el objetivo de ampliar el acceso a servicios médicos, aligerar el trabajo del sistema de salud y eliminar barreras que dificultan la atención oportuna. El Alcalde explicó que se eligió la explanada del Palacio Municipal por ser un punto accesible para habitantes de todas las comunidades.
Asimismo, anunció que se trabajará para que también puedan formar parte de caravanas Impulsando tu Salud, y acercar más servicios médicos a las colonias del municipio, además de reforzar los puntos de atención física ya existentes como las clínicas de Santa Lilia y La Raquelito, que recientemente fueron rescatadas por el Alcalde Isaac Montoya, tras años de olvido y deterioro.
El Presidente Municipal reconoció el trabajo del Sistema Municipal DIF de Naucalpan y reiteró el compromiso de su administración con el bienestar, la salud y los plenos derechos de las mujeres. “La prevención salva vidas. Queremos que sepan que no están solas; aquí está el DIF y el gobierno municipal para acompañarlas y apoyarlas”, expresó.
Informó que durante el Mes de la Mujer se desarrollarán diversas actividades enfocadas en el autocuidado, la información y el acompañamiento, como parte de una estrategia integral para construir un Naucalpan más justo, saludable y humano.
Recordó que impulsar el cuidado y el autocuidado de las mujeres es parte de la justicia social que se busca llevar a todas las comunidades con servicios de salud gratuitos y de calidad. Como parte de la Jornada de Salud Mujer con Bienestar, también se ofrecen vacunas contra el Sarampión, Neumococo y Tétanos, con el fin de prevenir enfermedades entre la población.
La Directora del Sistema Municipal DIF, Cecilia Figueroa Rodríguez, resaltó que estos servicios gratuitos de mastografías son una herramienta eficaz para detectar enfermedades a tiempo y poder atenderlas y que realizarse una mastografía es de suma relevancia para las mujeres.
Finalmente, Irina Margoly Gómez, vecina de Las Américas, quien acudió a solicitar el servicio, agradeció al Gobierno de Naucalpan por este tipo de campañas totalmente gratuitas que aligeran los gastos de las familias.
Destacaron que, para solicitar el servicio de mastografía, que se lleva a cabo desde las 08:30 horas en la explanada del Palacio Municipal, se requiere una identificación oficial, baño previo, axila rasurada, no usar desodorante, perfume o crema y no llevar pulseras, aretes, ni collares.
