Resultado de los recorridos de vigilancia y proximidad que realiza de manera permanente en las comunidades la Guardia Municipal, un elemento atendió la denuncia de una ciudadana, quien señaló que, un sujeto realizó tocamientos a sus hijas menores de edad.
Derivado de estos hechos, personas en el lugar lo retuvieron y lo agredieron físicamente, al notar la presencia policial, el sujeto intentó huir, siendo detenido metros adelante.
El elemento de la Guardia Municipal, le informó al hombre, el motivo de su detención por el delito de abuso sexual y sus derechos, siendo trasladado a la Fiscalía Regional para determinar su situación jurídica.
La Guardia Municipal realiza diversas labores de proximidad y de manera conjunta con elementos de la Policía Estatal, la SEDENA y Guardia Nacional a través de la Estrategia Operativa Oriente, tan solo en un fin de semana realizaron 7, a fin de disminuir la incidencia delictiva.
Del mismo modo, la Policía de Género, de la Guardia Municipal en coordinación con la Policía Estatal, implementan operativos “Transporte Seguro para la Mujer”, reforzando la vigilancia en el transporte público para prevenir el acoso y garantizar traslados seguros y libres de violencia para las mujeres.
