Ante el aumento drástico de casos por sarampión, particularmente en la Ciudad de México, la Diputada local del PAN por Cuauhtémoc, Frida Guillén, solicitó al GCDMX, ampliar la promoción para aplicar esta dosis en puntos de mayor congregación por colonia.
Puntualizó que la Ciudad de México está a punto de convertirse en un epicentro de transmisión de este virus frente a una pasividad injustificada de las autoridades locales y federales en materia sanitaria.
La panista manifestó su preocupación por un ligero brote en la Facultad de Medicina de la UNAM, lo que refleja que la campaña raquítica de vacunación no está dando resultados.
“Los jóvenes, junto con los niños, adultos mayores y poblaciones en situación de vulnerabilidad son los más afectados por el déficit acceso a una vacuna contra el sarampión”.
Frida Guillén expresó que durante el 20 y 28 de enero de 2026, en el país se registró un aumento importante de casos de sarampión.
“Aquí en la Ciudad de México, la cifra aumentó de 37 a 75 casos en un periodo de ocho días, eso debe ponernos en alerta y redoblar esfuerzos sanitarios para evitar una pandemia como el COVID 19”.
La panista refirió que el sistema de salud de la capital tiene que estar preparado con camas, tratamientos y personal médico para atender las demandas por zonas y alcaldías.
“Han pasado en otros momentos que no hay vacunas, no llegan o simplemente el Gobierno no las compró a tiempo, eso es negligencia criminal y basta de solapar a autoridades incompetentes”.
